MA Dem Thugs Rough Up Reporter
In a clear sign of desperation by Dem US Senate Candidate Martha Coakley's campaign, she had her entourage rough up a reporter outside her Washington DC fund raiser last night.
Upon leaving her fund raiser (heavily sponsored by fat cats in the health industry), Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack asked the Democrat hoping to fill Ted Kennedy's Senate seat if she stood by her claim in Monday night's debate that there were no longer any terrorists in Afghanistan.
Coakley was quoted as saying, "does anyone else have a question?"
Shortly thereafter, journalist John McCormack was reportedly pushed to the ground by someone in Coakley's entourage and then roughed up in an attempt to keep the reporter from asking Coakley any further questions.
McCormack's account of the incident is here.
Rasmussen Reports released the findings of their latest polling out of the very blue state of Massachusetts. Republican Senate Candidate Scott Brown is said to be within 2 points of Coakley.
Thug-like actions taken by Coakley's entourage as seen here would suggest there is more than a little stress in her campaign at the moment. Anything less than a 15 point blowout by Democrat Coakley would be seen as a devastating embarrassment for her party and yet another ominous sign for their electoral chances this November.
