15.2% Unemployment - MICHIGAN

News came today that the state of Michigan has hit 15.2% in unemployment.  The Granholm/Cherry economic policies continue pushing more and more families into desperate times.  Michigan is in an economic depression - plain and simple.

15.2% is a huge and depressing unemployment rate.  But what is the real number of unemployed?  How many people have run out of unemployment insurance coverage?  How many others have simply given up trying to find a job?  And how much higher would that percentage be had we not experienced the exodus of talent from our state over the past several years?

It's hardly comforting to know that we're stuck with the incompetent Democrats running Lansing for the next year and a half.  And it's downright depressing that Democrats in full control of Washington intend to employ the same failed economic policies of Granholm/Cherry but on a national level.

November 2, 2010 cannot come soon enough.
